OPTI-GUARD™ is used anywhere physical fiber infrastructure requires continuous protection. Common deployments include military bases, government data centers, secure communication facilities, energy plants, and utility networks.
In Outside Plant (OSP) environments, OPTI-GUARD™ monitors fiber conduits, hand holes, and maintenance holes using sensors. It immediately detects unauthorized access, fiber movement, or activity that could threaten network continuity.
For government and defense environments, OPTI-GUARD™ provides real-time monitoring of classified fiber networks without monitoring the data. Additionally, IMS™ software is CNSSI 7003 compliant by offering event logging, case management and forensic tools. The optional StopLight™ appliance can reduce or eliminate manual inspection requirements while offering a data shutoff capability in the event of an alarm event.
OPTI-GUARD™’includes a hardware relay interface that allows connection to existing systems such as video surveillance, alarms and autodialers, providing unified operational management without requiring full system replacement.
